Best samoosas around, I have been going to Northgate and Clearwater for many years.

Visit this store when we need a spice fix of some masala or spices. Huge variety of both Indian and Asian spices. They also have a take away menu for curries, roti rolls, bunny chows and samosas. I haven't tried the food but have ordered their samosas. They are good. I also like to buy their butter biscuits and sweetmeats from them. Burfee and jalebis are good. I don't find gulab jabs often though. The biscuits that I bought this time around was extremely fresh. Enjoyed them. I saw that they had puri patha in stock. The cooked ones this time. Great store. Friendly staff

The first time I have shopped at Spicy Den yesterday. A wide variety of finest quality spices and ingredients can be found in their store. The best part is excellent customer service definitely takes president (and it takes a lot to impress me ) Spicy Den is my go to from now on! Keep up the good service and great products

Pls do not judge indian food based on this place. The worst thing i ever tasted. The chilli bite was stale and oily. Chicken samoosa and cheese samoosa both very oily amd chicken one ws inedible. Butter chicken one of the worst things I've ever tasted. Couldn't eat it. The chicken curry was okay. And so so so overpriced

I went to Spicy Den as I was wishing for some nice curry. It was the most DISGUSTING food I ever ate. The chicken curry roti roll was salty and the chicken was burnt, the roti was hard. The lamb curry was oily and the butter chicken smelt off as in sour. This came after me spending R320. 00 on food I could not even eat. Spicy Den you should respect your customers enough and serve them fresh food, my experience was horrible. Angry customer.

Spices are part of my daily life, they have them in abundance. Highly convenient for me to be able to get everything I need in one place, plus they have 4 locations in JNB!
