PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THE WEST RAND EMERGENCY VET This little baby had an unfortunate accident this morning, mommy found him struggling to breath and rushed him to the emergency vet. They took x-rays (R1000.00) and said there is bleeding on the lungs, BUT sorry we can't help as we are now closing. WHAT KIND OF HEARTLESS VET DOES THIS!!!!!! My daughter rushed him to the Boskruin Vet, they x-rayed again (no charge) and he is now in an oxygen box, cause there is no oxygen mask small enough for him. We will spend the day praying he is going to be okay - BIG THANK YOU BOSKRUIN VET, YOU GUYS ROCK Your reply to our complaint is a total lie, we have the bill paid for, we arrived before closing time. A formal complaint with the vet council will now be lodged.

Took my yorkie there as an emergency at 21.55 this evening. Very professional receptionist and fantastic, knowledgeable and caring Doctor. Very pricey but an excellent service.

I've been trying to call the practice all day to ask if they have Royal Canin GI low fat liquid food for my Yorkie and if they'd be open at a specific time today. Yorkie woke up with an seriously upset stomach this morning. Phone rings for a minute or so before call is cut. I understand Emergency to mean the phone gets answered? Or there's a recorded message to say they're closed?

We were in a situation where we needed an emergency vet on Friday. Our little Lulu was pulled through the fence by the pitbulls next door and Dr Tatenda turned a hopeless situation into a really good one. On Sunday our 3 month old Labrador pup got stung by a bee and was weak and almost died. We took him to the emergency vet at 9PM and got assisted. Thank you to the vet and his staff for their quick, knowledgable, compassionate and professional assistance. They saved his life and fixed him to be as good as new.
