Food and venue was great. Stunning view of mountains. I think they have upped their game based on some of the previous reviews. Would definitely come back. Kids were free to run around and explore the gardens whilst the parents had a good time. Horseback riding for the kids. Thumbs up.

Not really a picnic as you are seated in extremely uncomfortable chairs all crammed together under a tree. Really bad sewerage smells keep wafting in. Very very expensive for what is in the basket, and wines, which are from the estate, also very expensive. The area you are seated in is dry and not very pretty at all.

Worst Stellenbosch experience...masses of people on a field of grass....don't see the point in doing this. Having a tasting at one of the lovely estates would be the much better choice!!!
