The place is big so we didn't get to explore it like we wanted. We were there for a picnic and a picnic we had. The picnic area has nice braaing spot, a siting spot/area and it's not far from the backpackers/Campers area. Oh yeah you can camp. There's a lot going on there but I was disappointed that they don't have a help desk. Once you get into the reserve you're given a map and you're on your own, literally... You can hike, cycle, camp(as mentioned above) and simply enjoy nature's serenity. Outdoor lovers, this is worth checking out for sure.... What stood out for me is that, there's no network reception. You can literally be cut off everyone, everything and endure in the moment

Great family outing, great landscapes and views. Game spotting adds to the experiences. A refreshing drive for the whole family
Perfect place for hiking, the view is amazing in all angles. You can have a picnic there, there is a braai area and you can have activities with your friends
Place not far away from Johannesburg around 2hours drive, such serenity and peaceful surroundings, one can camp or have a day visit for a braai
As a day visitor they don't allow you to view the best sights of the waterfall in the park.
Most amazing Nature with THE worst service from Game park employees I have ever experienced in South Africa. Wish the Nature stayed and the entire staff changed to a more educated system on how to provide a service to human beings. No wonder this park rarely gets used.
Its a great place for day visitors and to stay over in their self catering chalets that are available, there is also a backpackers lodge situated along the hiking trail, but you would need to enquire before hand for availability, there are a few trails to do there and one has a ladder that takes you into a gorge with a stunning hike all the way through, doing the full 13km hike is not for the feint of hart but it is very well marked if you decide to go for it, just take plenty of water and enjoy the breathtaking views and occasional wildlife.
Not bad, there isnt really much to do besides maybe a family braai or just watching the waterfall from very far away, i was actually disappointed with the waterfall. There also isn't an obvious route to the waterfall as you have to walk quite a distance on foot and there aren't really any people to direct you besides the guy at the gate who didnt give us clear instructins. Would only recommend this place for a braai, hiking or just riding bikes the waterfall is really not what i expected
