Is R100 worth a customer for life? I hired a drill from Sales Hire in Stellenbosch on Saturday morning. Unfortunately i wasn't able to return it before they closed at 13h00 as i was running a few minutes behind schedule. They did tell me that i could return it to their other branch if i couldn't get back in time. Anyway to cut a long story short, my laptop bag was stolen with ID, passport, laptop and a whole lot more inside it, and getting the drill back became less of a priority than police reports, changing passwords, home affairs..... the list goes on. I can understand paying an extra days rental to be reasonable, but they were completely inflexible and insisted i pay for 3 days hire, they even said that i am bringing it back 'at the end of the day' when it wasn't even 3 PM. Sorry Sale's Hire but i will never use your services again and i will spread the word.

These people "chop and change" policies more than you change your underwear. Instead of customizing policies around trusted customers they become paranoid and brush the entire client base with their paranoia. They will lose customers....I'm the first of many to come. If you insistant on hiring here, take a lie detector test along with an FBI guarentee that you not a fraud! Good luck
