Come to this amazing seafood and sushi restaurant every time I’m in the area! It’s so nice with the beaches front views and amazing sunsets. The service is consistently good from beginning to end. The seafood is so fresh. I highly recommend all the sushi including the platters, wide selection of rolls and the sashimi. Great options for thick and creamy milkshakes, and a large wine list. Even can order MCC by the glass not the bottle. Love their snoek and sweet potatoes cakes which are deliciously flavoured. Finish it all off with one of their delicious desserts: personal favourite is the tiramisu which is a creamy take on the classic coffee soaked treat. Very Covid safe with well spaced tables, lots of outdoor dining options. The temperature checks and sanitizer at the front make it feel safe.

Absolutely beautiful view of the ocean, a perfect spot to watch the sun set! A very light atmosphere. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. There is a wide variety of meals, some tapas, delicious seafood combo's, some curries, salads, burgers and even sushi platters. They also have a few cocktails and an extensive wine list. Wheelchair accessible as well. Not the ideal place to go if you're in a hurry.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch at Salinas yesterday. Our first time there, we were super impressed to find a couple of vegan options on the menu. Having just come from a strenuous hike our hunger eclipsed common sense and no photos were taken of the food. Damn! The service was excellent and the setting (we sat on the deck) picture perfect. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Beautiful outside, inside, the art displayed, view & great atmosphere. Food was excellent. Fish curry was different & delicious.

Lovely deck sea-views, service is good once you attract the waitresses, but perhaps they initially left us alone to enjoy the gorgeous views on arrival. I suggest parking directly in front of the restaurant as I was a bit rattled when I mistakenly parked in the main parking lot for the beach, where I was harassed by an enthusiastic beggar. A helpful guard suggested that I park directly at the entrance of the restaurant, which I did and felt much safer. This was my first time at Salinas but would I go again? The food we ordered was disappointing. My partner and I shared two starters. While the proportions were good, the prawns were not, and nor was the hummus. Also hummus is usually served with falafel or pita bread and this dish came with French bread slices which didn't work. Our desert choice, the baked cheesecake, was too sweet and was served with ice-cream and an ultra sugary berry compote which tasted more like jam. Definitely not a repeat order. Sitting on the deck upstairs watching the waves roll by is lovely. Just make sure you don't sit too close to the children's play area (a ship structure) as we did. Salinas is a popular hang out, good for families with children and right on the beach. To answer my earlier question, would I go again? Only if I had to (i.e. if that was where my friends decided to meet). However, it would not be my first choice.

Had dinner on Saturday night... The terrace is the perfect location to watch the sunset and they even provide blankets! The service was excellent and well when it comes to the food, all I can say is RIBS, they were declared 'the best' by my husband and I agree... The meat fell off the bone, there was no fat and the flavour and sauce, were sublime... I'm a convert, my fillet was great but the ribs ruled.

Grilled fish were nice. Feel they can be more generous with the portions of the deserts like the cheesecake

Salinas was referred to us by a friend. It has a great menu and view. Perfect spot for sundowners as well. Good food.
