The place is actually called "Thai bar". It is a nice and cozy restaurant with friendly staff who try and accommodate their customers. I ordered a Pina colada. It was the best I have had in a long time but not hundred percent correct. It had a nice texture but it was to sweet. The waiter returned it to the bar and they added more cream to tone it down. My partner ordered the noodles with crispy duck and it was lovely. I ordered the thair red curry with prawns an it was amazing. No complaints at all. Really decent portions. I will definitely be returning to try out some alternative options on their menu.

I agree with other posters that the staff made every effort to facilitate a pleasant experience. The ‘manager’ even checked in with us, yet the food was terribly bland and didn’t taste like Thai food at all. There was no offer to exchange, return, or select another dish. The coconut and Tom Yum soup should be more accurately defined as a fishy fish soup without the Thai spices. Additionally, the ‘spicy Thai chicken wings’ were small, and coated with a sweet sauce that had no bite at all. The food was extremely underwhelming, yet the staff were pleasant, kind and friendly.

Let me start of by saying that I have in the past had excellent food and excellent service form Best of Asia. But last night I was sorely disappointed. I ordered 3 of my favorite dishes. Dishes that I have had from them before and loved. Last night however the sweet and sour pork contain a grand total of 6 tiny, bland, tough pieces of pork. The crispy chicken was mostly sauce. Now I love the sauce but I expected to have pieces of chicken that were bigger than pencil shavings. To make matters worse my husband has a sensitive stomach, and has been feeling ill after eating the pork. All in all a dismal experience.

Half price on Sunday (so down) and buy 2 get the 3rd free on Tues (so or take away)... What more could you want?! Love that they don't pile on the rice. Never had the Chinese dishes so can't comment.

Beyond horrific. The food came out of packets; I'm convinced the noodles came out of an instant cook packet, the meat was poor quality - I doubt my pork was even pork. When I questioned why the sweet and sour sauce smelt like heated up tomato sauce, I was offered the pathetic answer that 'it is sweet and sour sauce' - something it was definitely not. I paid just over R300 for something I could've bought from Pick n Pay. The managers are completely useless, uninterested, and if they are proud to serve the food they do, then I question their standards. Absolutely shocked, and I will never go back. I feel ripped off.

Our first time ordering from here and the first and last. We paid R150 for two meals that were a table spoon of rice and a few veggies. Avoid this place. You are better off cooking for yourself
