Understated but excellent. Was a limited selection for Valentines but worked well. From starters to mains and dessert everything was excellent. The owner / head chef was present and making sure all the patrons enjoyed their meal. Definitely plan to visit again during a normal time. Love to try some of the other items on the menu.

Owner/chef greeted us, told us specials and checked on us a few more times during the evening. Impeccable service from our waiter, great wine selection, mussels and steak tartare stole the show. Main were also good. Nice ambiance. Need to book as the restaurant gets understandably busy. Will definately be back, we so enjoyed the experience.
Wine was excellent but limited food options for Vegans. The food is very basic and no dessert was offered. Even though we booked in advance and informed them that we were vegan, when we arrived we were told that their pizza bases had cheese on it already and were told to order from their 2 pasta options.
Great atmosphere, really good servers, Lanser is hands on deck. However, for a Vegan there are extremely limited and very basic options (2 pasta's, a salad & a flatbread), despite the restaurant coming up as Vegan friendly on searches. The Vegan options also tend to be disappointing. Wish a little bit more effort was made especially since there are a multitude of vegan products easily accessible without needing to go to any great lengths.
The staff are amiable and welcoming. The suggestions of the day had many scrumptious options. The duck livers served with vetkoek were delectable. They have vegan and vegetarian options. Everyone enjoyed the experience and food.
Outstanding food. Excellent Service. A fantastic wine list. Wonderful staff. If you have been here before it's definitely worth the experience. You wont regret it. Well done guys. I definitely will be back.
Really good quality of food, nice range of meals and prices. Nice to have owner/manager come discuss specials, but it does mean a slight delay in taking orders. Do mention to the waiter if you have a time constraint Lovely vibe, we will go back
