Noodles 10

Started out as a promising. However I unfortunately missed my follow up appointment (out of my control) - I am still waiting to hear when doctor can see me. Its been 5 weeks since receiving my blood tests. My medication is about to run out - but attitude is - well that is too bad you are going to have to wait for an opening. I find the reception staff very unfriendly and they don't listen to what you have to say.

One of the best specialists I have been to. He thinks holistically about your long-term health and aims to provide the best solution with lowest possible side effects. A bit pricey, but so are all physicians in Sandton- he is definitely well-worth the money though.

An absolutely brilliant doctor, who is incredibly knowledgeable and willing to try natural solutions to complement the treatment given. I highly recommend anyone who has, or suspects they have thyroid problem to go see Dr Magan. My only gripe is that unfortunately the doctor hasn't sent me some of my blood test results, which is a frustration.

2 visits to new(letterhead said Dr Zaheer Bayat) endocrinologist at Sandton Mediclinic between Oct and Nov 2018. Visit 1, R2000, Told I need to wait 6 weeks for Thyroid meds to work itself out of my system, and that I would have to do blood work before they could diagnose. surely this should not have been part of consultation? Visit 2, R1750, the specialist had my lab results back by the second visit. Visit consisted of her reading results in front of me and telling me that my "thyroid"condition had righted itself and there was nothing for her to do. Seriously? Hippocratic Oath?...That in my relations with patients, colleagues and others I will conduct myself with DIGNITY as becomes a member of an HONOURABLE profession?
