After moving in, everything is an extra cost. From changing a light bulb to sorting out your DSTV connections. Everything is an additional cost. They take care of NOTHING. So disappointed. As a single female, its difficult to maintain all of the nitty gritty, & here i was thinking it would be easier taking a rental from an agency instead of private.

Renprop's development arm built a 3 storey block of flats with open balconies directly over looking my free standing house in contravention of National Building Regulations and ignoring the condition from City of Joburg that the privacy of my house (and my neighbour) must be taken into consideration. HA!!! They either paid off someone at COJ and/or ignored the restrictive condition because they knew that a private individual doesn't have the funds to fight a large corporation. Since the building has been occupied I have been faced with laundry hanging over the balconies - despite this being a contravention of the Sectional Titles Schemes Management Act and the Conduct Rules for the Boundary and despite me sending multiple complaints to Renprop (who "manage" the complex) including photos showing this is almost a daily occurrence absolutely nothing has been done to stop it. I find it hard to believe that a resident would continue to break the rules if Renprop had brought it to their attention and threatened to impose a fine if it continued. It is like living next door to a slum, yet Renprop don't give a damn because its not their property that has dropped in value by nearly a million rand - and they don't have to look at other people's laundry hanging over the balcony from their house. The fish rots from the head, so it indicates to me that the total disregard for other people starts with the MD, which is why the rest of the staff happily treat people with total contempt. I would give zero stars if it was an option!

Having a look at all the "positive reviews" below are fraud. Most probably people who work for them Lies Renprop's Contractor Corpsure - Run by George - has not notified us the carports were getting painted - And the debris and paint has gotten all over my vehicle The incompetence of this company is legendary called Renprop 3 times - Onhold - Then dropped call Cannot get through to anyone

I received no less than seven phone calls from them in the space of two days. Each time they phoned, they told me a complete lie about who they received my number from ... in one case they told me they received the number from myself (citing my full name, not realising they were talking to me), in another case they said they received my number from a six-year old child that I know?!?!?! I am not okay with being lied to. When I started telling the phone consultant this, she hung up. I'm not surprised to see the other litany of complaints surrounding this company. Clearly the rot goes to the core.

Wish I could give 0 stars. I never had an issue during the course of my lease agreement. However, once it came to them paying my deposit back, they tried to deduct amounts for repairs of damage that I did not cause. Margie was very unprofessional and unfriendly when it came to me explaining that they are not allowed to deduct amounts from my deposit that were not agreed upon in the agreement. I eventually got my deposit back, thankfully because my contract backed me up. Would definitely not recommend this company. Yes, I never had an issue before my contract ended, but the end experience completely ruined it all.

This company is the worst managing agent i have every come across, you would think being a PAYING owner might get you some acknowledgement think again, emails go unanswered for months. if you ever get a reply it normal so arrogant and disrespectful you actually cant believe any business can still have clients. I see by the huge amount of 1 stars that i am not alone.PLEASE BE WARE OF RENPROP STAY-AWAY. I wish i knew this.
