The acoustics are still as beautiful as ever... The quality of the "Step 2 Dream" dance production was very good! But the theatre seems to be somewhat in disrepair with lights not working in the bathroom & the lighting around the parking area not working either. The Security guard was/is a good "add-on" in recent years...

Whilst architecturally impressive being a full lyric theatre on the small scale the Johannes Stegmann suffers from a lack of on going maintainence and has suffered some severe damage from the elements. Despite the damage over the years with better management this theatre could see a rise to it's former glory
