From the moment you are welcomed by Tina at the main gate and greeted by Collins at the lodge, the wonder begins to unfold. The staff was awesome and always ready to make our stay a wonderful experience. The accommodation is everything that I had expected on a Safari holiday. The food was mouthwatering at all times. We saw all of the big five, which was even more exciting. Our last morning before departure was an added bonus as the elephants came to feed right in front of our unit, as if they came to bid us goodbye. Finally we came across a male leopard before exiting the reserve. Am definitely going back!!!!!!

luxurious, stunning surroundings accompanied by friendly, professional staff. game drives never disappointed us and the driver and tracker were very knowledgeable. had an amazing dining experience... waterbuck literally ran past our table, followed by a lioness. staff acted professionally and calmly to assure us it was safe. a moment and memory that I will never forget but appreciate more each time I think about it.
Best game viewing experience...thanks Colbert and Evans. All the staff are fantastic and the camp is beautiful. The camp is unfenced so hyena and lions were spotted in the camp at the time we were there. Cell reception is poor...good for a breakaway from the hustle and bustle...bad for when you need to be reached in an emergency which happened in our case and we relayed on the lodge landlines which worked perfectly. The managers also provide great service - thanks to all for an enjoyable experience.

Amazing stay for our honeymoon. Top quality service, couldn’t ask for better! I am so happy we got to spend our honeymoon there, they made it super special by preparing a candle lit bath and champagne, so thoughtful! We are planning on going back for our wedding anniversaries! Thank you Simbavati staff for such a memorable stay!

My husband and I spent 4 nights here in September as part of our honeymoon. It surpassed all our expectations in every way (and we had high expectations just looking at the photos on the website). The staff was always friendly and helpful, rooms are spectacular, facing the river with a wonderful daybed on the deck and a bathtub overlooking the river. The sounds of animals (especially the hippos' conversations) always surrounded us and gave us that true bush feel while experiencing it in great luxury. Our guides and tracker were experts and helped us to get beautiful clear views of all of the animals of the big 5 within 4 game drives, as well as wild dogs and many others. Food was exceptional. They spoiled us with many extra touches to make our honeymoon memorable and extremely special. This was a once in a lifetime experience for us and we are so grateful for the memories we made there.
The lodge was absolutely beautiful, all of the staff were so friendly and the food was delicious. We had a great time on every game drive with our amazing guide, Colbert and tracker, Derek. I'd highly recommend a visit to this stunning lodge!
