Easy access off the N2, I enjoy the track. Suitable for all ages and furry friends.

Working farm environment. Flat track and lovely view of Hottentot Holland's mountain. A bit of history to run with: Somerset West was founded in 1822 on part of the historic farm, Vergelegen.[2] The town was named Somerset after an English governor of the Cape Colony during the 1800s, Lord Charles Henry Somerset, with the suffix 'West' being added after 1825 to differentiate it from Somerset East, another South African town in the Eastern Cape. In the 1830s, Sir Lowry's Pass, named after later governor Sir Lowry Cole, was constructed to link the town with outposts further east over the Hottentots- Holland mountains.
A well run parkrun, flat and you can run a good time here. Run on dirt tracks in fields shared with live stock. Expect to get your shoes dirty and muddy when wet. The track is rough in places but generally smooth.
This is an off road farm run. Lots of mud and cow paddies. Do not wear new running shoes. The marshals are friendly, but this is more suited for a walk with your dog than actually running 5km.
Love running! This well organised event every Saturday makes it a beautiful outdoors opportunity to do a 5km run surrounded by nature all the way!
Great exercise event for the entire family. Walk or run, you will get a good workout. Friendly volunteers and parking available. Local Shell garage is on the path out of the farm for refreshments.
I love this and people are always so supportive among each other, makes you feel relax and welcomed as a new comer.
Good run. Very windy
