Great service and friendly faces
We are in the process of renovating our kitchen and decided to go into the Smeg showroom in Cape Town. The service was shocking. There were signs on the appliances which stated that we were not allowed to touch them. I voiced this as I wanted to have a look inside the fridges. One of the sales staff came up to me and asked what I wanted to see. I replied the fridges and I would also like to know the dimensions and some details. She literally walzed passed opened the two fridges (top doors) on display and then walked off. I immediately walked out. That is not how one treats customers. You ask how you can be of assistance and then you hang around to SELL the product. It was condescending, rude and disrespectful and though I really like smeg products I will not be buy any appliances from the company because if this is the front of house customer service I would hate to think what the after sales service is like.
Terrible service. Paid for spares and is still waiting for feedback after 5 days. One would expect good backup service for a Stove that cost R60 000.00. ??? I will never buy a Smeg product again because of the after sales service which does not exists. Think before Buy.

Please visit the SMEG showroom before you redo your kitchen @GreenPoint, ask for Ana Fugareu, she is one of the best things to happen to SMEG... They don't just sell stoves, no kidding, they even have amazing kitchen sinks (I know right)... DO NOT BUY SMEG after sales service is disgusting we spent over R100k on SMEG appliances of which one has not performed it's functions from day one we have been calling and talking to SMEG and still no solution after months and to top it off they tell you they will call you and never come back to you
