Do not do business with Standard Bank Insurance, it is the most incompetent company I have come across. Not able to get feedback via telephone, email, digital platform. Taken 6 weeks for my claim, it has been approved, but payment has not been made for two weeks with zero feedback. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

Hold on for ever to speak to the least informed and unfriendly agents. They will try their very best at avoiding paying out claims when you really need them. Not what you want in an insurance company. We're moving!

I have been calling them for an entire week.from one department to another they know nothing. Absolutely nothing . They cancelled my credit life protection with telling me and I only found out because I was updating my paperwork. Nobody there can help I would give them a minus 10 if anything and am sorry but they the most unprofessional bank there is

I have been a client since 2002 and this year I have received the worst customer service ever. Laid a complaint and their response - takes eight days to review the complaint. Calls to call centre are unanswered, when you do make contact they promise to attend to your query but nothing happens. I informed them per e-mail last week that I will cancel my ;policy within 48 hours if no response received - it is now a week later. Guess what - I am cancelling my policy today. Have had fantastic quotes in no time from their competition - time to move on. To keep blaming Covid is an absolute cop out.

There is always someone available and ready to sign up new clients. Once that is complete they are impossible to get hold of, even to add new insurance items to the schedule.
