We recently had a private event at Kleinriver cheese farm. The venue is just the right balance of serenity and adventure and the picnic boxes were packed with the yummiest of goodies. Left with a happy heart!

Excellent family outing, perfect for small children. Great playground. Large outside lawn. Goats, chickens etc. Good location and last but not least. Great cheese and bread washed down with regional wine.

Ordered 2 cheese boxes online and was a bit hesitant regarding shipping as it take up to 5 days for anything to reach us. A real wow moment when I saw how the goods were packed.- each "cheese box" in its own "cooler box" and everything still cold. Even a hand written thank you note in parcel. Cheese and all the other goodies amazing. Well done guys, you deserve more than 5 stars!

Great surroundings & food. Kids have a large play area and can feed some of the farm animals (Goats, sheeps, pigs, etc) Purchased a delicious picnic basket for the family. Restaurant pricing for sure but you can't put a price on the atmosphere and scenery! The Western Cape mountains are amazing..

We found this little family friendly farm where kids can run around, feed the animals and ride some. The grown ups can eat, drink and make merry of course. This remote area filled with activities is ideal for a weekend getaway and chances of you being flagged down and breathalysed are next to none. Drink responsibly all the same for the temptation is very strong in this wine valley set in the Overberg.

Beautiful mountain view, artisanal bread and cheese and wine, packed in a basket and off you meander closer to the mountain for a delicious outdoor picnic, can laze around on the lawns....and eat your fill of Kleinriver gourmet cheeses

I have been in this cheese farm a couple of times (3-4 times) and I get more enchanted every time. The facilities are incredibly well maintained, the peaceful environment is ideal for a day with family, friends or just to be alone and enjoy the nature or work on your computer without being interrupted. The pets around the farm are friendly and, what to say about the personnel... Attentive, charming, professional and willing to go above and beyond to make your staying more comfortable. Special shout-out to the one of the managers, Johan! He makes you feel that you're his only center of attention, even when they're more people around. Definitely I will keep coming back and I commend this place to everyone looking for doing something different from the routine and to build a new home outside of your home. Keep it up with the good job!! :D
