ExtraClassesStb offers private extra classes to Maties students before tests and exams in groups as well as on a weekly one-on-one basis. Mission We love teaching and we want to keep on teaching. Our goal is to present private extra classes professionally, explaining content accurately in an easy to understand manner in order to help students understand the work. We believe that if our classes help students a lot, the word will spread and our business will keep on growing. We want to help students succeed in their studies - especially in their first year at university. It is our opinion that if we can help students be successful in their first year, they will start working successfully on their own thereafter. We belief that classes should be presented by people who enjoy teaching and who are enthusiastic about it. Description The private classes take place on campus and are presented by postgraduate students in a way that is both professional and dynamic. The initiative is sensitive to student needs and all inputs and feedback are greatly appreciated and attended to - thus far feedback has been excellent! The Extra Classes Stellenbosch project was started by two senior students in early 2011 when they spotted the need for test and exam concept-orientated revision sessions. The program has since grown to include more subjects and new facilitators – each skilled in their relevant course material and enthusiastic about teaching.
