Functions as a residence with private accommodation fees, including an extensive rule list. This rule list includes steep fees for various "offences" (Ranging from R50 to R1500.) as well as not allowing any guests to stay over whatsoever. This rule list is only communicated after move-in. Has a small functioning House Committee. 2020's HC searched most resident's rooms (home or not) in search of their own lost property, in a huge privacy violation. This was allowed and facilitated by the wholly incompetent and ill-mannered "house mother", Laura. Laura has been known to loose her temper in very poor fashion and mistreat residents. Furthermore there are often problems with the following: Noise (internal) Bio-metric access being unavailable for prolonged periods due to system failure after load shedding (leaving the entrance open to anyone) Longtime broken CCTV system Other privacy concerns ranging from paper thin walls, to room access being given to office staff from cleaning staff with room keys. If you're looking for a residence experience this might suit you, but definitely not if you prefer privacy and class.
