My breakfast was really good, friendly service and very clean. I chose the skilpaadjies instead of boere wors and loved this wholesome breakfast with eggs. The cappuccino was great too. I will be back to try the burgers too.

This butchery is by far my favourite one. The meat they use comes directly from the grazing fields, and the livestock is not fed on any feed that contains growth stimulants. The Boer and Butcher own a few branches, but I visit the Stellenbosch branch on a regular basis. They are a bit pricey, but it is definitely worth with your while. There perske sausage is a firm favourite. They also have a restaurant, which forms part of the butchery, which serves great food and wonderful burgers. Their service is friendly and fast. A must visit if you love good, tasty meat and wonderful, huge burgers.

It was a unique experience. This is probably the equivalent of shopping for materials used in High-End restaurants and diners. Was personally very satisfied with the pork neck steaks. Or perhaps it was just the way the meal was prepared... See for yourself and you won't be dissapointed.

I sooo badly want to give 5 stars, I love the shop, but every single time we purchase biltong, it has 'sening' in it. 20% of the biltong is always inedible. We took the biltong back about 2 months ago and swopped the remaining out for edible biltong. The guy who swopped it had attitude. Once again we made the mistake to buy biltong. Wragtigwaar, weer sening in every piece! Please up your biltong standard. Such a let down for such a great place.
