I had the pleasure of dealing with Vodacom Shop Stellenbosch recently. I called ahead and they had the device that I wanted to purchase and all necessary paperwork ready when I arrived. The purchase process went very smoothly and faster than I expected. They tested my new device and SIM card to ensure that it worked fully before I left. They also gave me invaluable information re the device warranty that I did not know. Thank-you very much for the Excellent, Efficient and Friendly service!

The worst customer service I have ever experienced! They are extremely helpful when finding a contract so that one may spend money at their branch UNTIL after you've paid, you come across a problem and they can't help you. I bought a 12 month data bundle for 1GB per month, however it was running out in the first 3-5 days of the month. I was the only one using it and there were no apps running in the background. I went in store to check it and they said that the man that helps is out that day - this happened four times. I asked to speak to the manager, they said they aren't allowed to give out details. (Why not?) Anyways, it's the worst customer service I've ever received and the gentleman helping me behind the counter was condescending. It has ruined Vodacom for me and I won't be using them again. Quite sad because they have great deals.

So I accidentally stepped on my phone, which I luckily insured. I brought it to them on the 1st of December last year, hoping that they'll be able to replace it speedily. I have since called them 4 times, giving them my job number and contact details. Each time they said they'll call me back as soon as possible regarding my query, which they never did... Now I'm forced to go there in person to find out what's going on (a month and a half later!). Bad service and lousy customer care, wouldn't recommend them at all.
