Great campsite and venue. Grassy and shady sites along the river with great scenery. Nice hiking and cycling trails. Dog friendly which was a bit much with dogs everywhere. Ablutions clean and neat. Bring your own toilet paper.

Great campsite. Green grass all over and water easily accessible and clean for foreign foliage. Limited on the ablutions side which could be better but clean nonetheless. Remember to take toilet paper. For the above average cost you still need to provide your own for some reason

We loved suikerbossie! Beautiful campsite, green grass, lovely river swimming and activities. Kids loved the slip n slide they put out. We will be back.

What a special place this is. Such a special spot hidden in the mountains. Camp site is beautifully kept and all facilities are top grade. Although there are multiple sites, each site is well positioned and feels somewhat private. Highly recommend this spot.

Definitely the best camping I have ever experienced. Thank you Samuel and Vivian for being such great hosts

Peaceful, quiet, doggy friendly. When we unpacked our tent, we realised it shorted one pole section. The owners kindly lent us theirs to use for the night. We will definitely be back!

Terrible people skills. I sent a booking request from the website. No response. I sent a watsapp and got told to send an email to bookings. I send all the required information and I get a email back I need to go look at there schedule to see if there is availability. I call because I need help trying to understand the colour booking system of the spreadsheet and some person answers the phone with an unhelpful attituide because shes doing me a favour by answering the phone while she is on lunch. So when I ask why she then even answers the phone while shes on lunch..... She drops the call..... This may be a beautiful location but the people running the place I have no words for

Beautifully kept sites and excellent location! Really doesn’t get much better in that regard. Lots of exploring can be done in and around the farm with a challenging 4x4 trail - likely grade 3 trail. But, we would not go there again. We had no hot water for 3 days and seemed as if the owners were not phased by this. Apparently it’s been an issue for years and has not been resolved. It’s a very costly campsite and one would expect hot water....especially when nights get icey cold. Give this one a pasa until they guarantee hot water or money back.
