What a privilege to have such a glorious temple of art in such a small city! I was really impressed by both the collection and variety of art, and the clean and efficient way in which the gallery is managed. This gallery is really an asset for Umgungundlovu.

Love this place for its quiet atmosphere, cute coffee shop and the fact that it's a great place to go on a rainy day in PMB.
The pianist playing there on 1 April made our experience surreal. It was truly out of this world!!!
New art works and amazing restoration of old works damaged by a flood. The live music from James Grace was awesome
Interesting art museum in Pietermaritzburg - it was established in 1903 and since then showcases permanent & temporary exhibits in a historical setting. Enjoyed spending an hour on Sunday morning.
Beautiful place to get away for some art and quiet.
