Lovely restaurant on the N3, great stop on the way to coast and back. Playgrounds, little souvenir shop, bakery, all lovely. It would be even nicer if the management could chill a little and friendly welcome guests instead of treating them as unwelcome intruders who use "the wrong way" into the the restaurant (came via coffeeshop, nothing indicates where one MUST go to do it RIGHT). Also buying biltong one shouldn't be scolded for queuing at the "wrong" counter. Seems a bit OCD. A more professional way would be for the waitress to point out immediately what dishes on the menu are not available so that one doesn't have to call the kids back from playground to pick something else. So I say awesome pretty clean facility, could be a bit more into service and friendliness instead of looking like "I am too busy for you right now" nerved looking manager.

I'm surprised that more people don't stop here, this is a perfect venue to have a break, they have wild life there and a lovely craft store, their food is fantastic and reasonable. Worth 5 stars all day long, very clean venue, and their accommodation looks stunning as well, well done to you all keep up the brilliant service.
Stopped here to only stretch our legs... but how pleasantly surprised I was to see what we found... LIONS, WILD DOGS, an incredible restaurant, luxurious charlets with breath-taking surroundings! Including a shop for gifts or souvenirs, and a playground for the little ones. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I definitely want to go back and stay over for a night or two! Oh yes, and I bought a snazzy hat. :)
We usually stop in Heidelburg but decided to go somewhere less crowded. What a pleasant surprise, staff super Friendly and food great. Bakery, and gifts. . Great place to stop ..
I love the venue. I love the location and the adore the roaming cat. Would be a 5 star if the cuppachino was a good balance between the milk and coffee and not just a weak milk taste with no buscuit. Which was surprising as they sell lovely local biscuits. Staff very friendly and polite. Service a good. - went pass the there 4 days later. I'm sorry to say cuppachino still terrible. Very sad.
We stopped for a milkshake and some pizza on our way home. Unfortunately as we've experienced before at the restaurant the food was good but the service was very poor. Pity!
Its nice place.we were stopped here for safari.but safari charges were to much.plz reduce few money.thanks
It was very nice, the waitress was very friendly and the staff work very well together they are united. The food was way beyond delicious and the place is very neat and clean.
