Great hidden gem, an oasis in Langkloof. Lovely accommodation options on the campus too but not particularly kid friendly.

If you want a Ferrari do not visit Belfry Kitchen go to Spur if you want Model T and enjoy the ride visit Belfry Kitchen. Lovely people. It is not about the service its about the experience. If you never been to France, visit Belfry Kitchen. Take your bottle of wine and enjoy the "ride"

Stopped here by chance, enchanted by the well kept campus grounds and tasteful exterior of the kitchen with a promise of good coffee. Boy were we blown away by the experience! Just a warning to visitors, only stop if you have time to soak up the ambience and have an open mind to the approach here. No commercial intentions. Take the time to chat to Reuben Botha and you'll leave with a different take on small town living and a sustainable approach to life. And yes, the coffee is the best you'll find on R62 and the chocoloate mousse cake to die for!

Absolutely stunning! This is by far the most wonderful experience. All the food is made from scratch and is grown in their own gardens. The 4 course chef's experience was wonderful. Homemade bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar for starters. Main course was roast beef in a caramelized onion sauce over smooth mashed potatoes with a side of fresh spinach and cherry tomatoes. A selection of homemade cheeses and crackers was our next surprise followed by a medley of homemade sweets for dessert. The chocolate mousse cake was out of this world! All this was washed down with some homemade ginger beer. Very well priced. It felt wonderful to experience this. 10 out of 10
