A trail full of delightful surprises, unspoilt beaches, crayfish skeletons, heerenboontjies, rooibos tea, delicious fish, yummiest malva pudding in lamberts bay, a piano in the ladies bathroom at verkorenvlei, step back in time at the plaaskombuis in steenbokfontein and hear tales ofshipwrecks and a resident ghost. All in all the "grateful 8" had an awesome 3 days and returned to Cape town having enjoyed the warm West coast hospitality and a renewed faith in the adage, local is lekker.
