What an absolutely wonderful experience! Definitely a must visit when you are in Jeffrey's Bay! A great outing for the whole family! Great food, great atmosphere and also a great farm feeling!

We decided to head here for brunch, but hadn't realised that it had only reopened a day before! The menu was limited, but the service was wonderful and the food was delicious, and beautifully presented. We were even greeted by the new chef who was really friendly and welcoming. Plus the spot was gorgeous and open, and there was the most adorable baby pig in the petting zoo
Poor quality service and food at the restaurant. Food arrived late, with Sunday lunch completely overcooked (who replaces roast potatoes with pickled beetroot anyway?!). Chicken was undercooked (red/bloody inside...). However the menu is relatively affordable and ample space to entertain kids (farm animals and jumping castle). On the whole, would not recommend unless you want to keep some little ones busy, in which case good fit.
I was at The Wild Fig a year ago. I remember it was very good, but I was somehow surprised how it now seemed even better than before. I'm not sure what changed, but they raised the bar. It was pretty quiet when we went, but the service was super fast. Maybe it is different when it gets busy, but I was really impressed today. This venue is really awesome if you have children. They disappear and have loads of fun. They food is fantastic and beautiful.
New owners so things were a bit haphazard but improved as the day moved along. Fabulous setting. Great for kids. SPCA Assisi hosted a stall at their first market day. A super day.
Really nice location and good breakfast. Strongly recommended!
Half the productson the menu were unavailable even though it was early in the morning and the middle of school holidays. Service not up to scratch. Meal not well presented or pleasant. Surroundings and functions for children not operating. Will not go there again.
My wife and I love eating out, trying new places, and supporting local business. As we were leaving Jeffs yesterday, we decided to pop in at The Wild Fig and ordered a Breakfast Burger and Eggs Benedict. The place was rather quiet so, after waiting 30 mins, we called the waiter to enquire about the meal. She seemed irritated and said that they had received a big order which was given precedence. She said can't say how much longer it will take. (There was no big table when we arrived). The meal eventually arrived after 50 mins (we waited from 11h20 till 12h10). The waiter dropped the food on the table and dashed off. The burger looked like it slapped together and had a slice of processed cheese and the bun and stale and crumbled in my hands when I picked it up. Everything was greasy, including the chips. My wife had asked for soft eggs in her Eggs Benedict but the yolks were hard and the hollandaise was sour. The waiter did not return to enquire about the meal or ask to refill drinks. She arrived after we had eaten, and was very abrupt and unfriendly. She made a point to NOT ask how the meal was. Unfriendly staff, bad food. Everything you don't want when you're paying for the food. This was our worst experiences at a restaurant ever. We regret having stopped there.
