The team at Thrifty PE are absolutely amazing. They went out of their way to assist me with some technical issues we experienced with our 4x4 rental this past week, and I cannot say thank you enough for the huge effort they put in to resolve my issues. Highly recommended!!!

Worst car rental so far. I paid for a category B car and asked for a Polo specifically a week in advance, was given an i10 which is a category A cheapie and was told that this one was a 1.4 which makes it Category B. Laughable. I asked whether they could offer me anything else, no sir, we have no other cars available, not even in a better class. Use them if you like being disappointed. See below from their own website, actually a bit scammy. Avoid. *edit: they asked me to send my details via email to 'resolve'. Lol. Not even a reply after I did as asked and sent all the details. If I could choose zero stars I would. Cut and paste reply to a valid concern, shows you what they think of their customers. There are many other car rental companies in that little airport.

Nice cars on offer. Just some of the staff at the PE office had attitude problems when I questioned them about my paper work. 1 in particular, had the personality of a dead snake. Other than that I would have given it a 5 star.

Extremely shady service from Thrifty. Rented a Vito and specified times for pickup at 19h00 Thursday evening and drop off at 19h00 the Sunday evening. Phoned the P.E Airport branch to enquire if I picked up the vehicle an hour earlier would that be a problem. NO SIR, THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN READY SINCE 14H00 WAS THE REPLY. I only needed it from Friday Morning anyway. Vehicle was returned the Sunday evening at 18h30 and they charged for an additional day.....be careful peeps. WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!! Booked for 3 days..charged for 4.. I was told the vehicle was half an hour late at drop off. Should have been returned by 18h00..how unprofessional and totally unacceptable. Hope the additional charge goes a long way Thrifty!!! Bad publicity goes a very long way!!

After I return a car they charged me for an extra day no explanation no nothing, I paid everything. They are taking money from my account I went to them they told me they don't know what's happening its some from the head..........

Efficient friendly pick up. They could perhaps prepare the on board Bluetooth and radio to assist customers. Phoned the helpline who couldn't.. help! They didn't return my call as they said they would. Car great though.
