Food is incredibly cheap and of great quality. You're served by inmates who committed soft crimes and are being taught a life skill. Little intimidating to drive up to the initial gate, but just say you're going to the restaurant and the guard will give directions. You then drive a couple of block and park in front of the restaurant. You don't need to sign in or anything. You're allowed to tip, but only to the cashier who will divvy it up between the servers. Don't tip anyone directly. You won't be in the main area. The restaurant is where the staff houses are, but you will see some inmates working. Their hours are weird. Basically only breakfast and lunch. No alchohol.

Inside the Club you will find the Pollsmoor Retaurant. It is very basic. The food it well prepared and tastes really good. I have been here on several occasions and have not yet been disappointed. The kitchen is run by inmates. :-) All fresh produce comes from the agricultural fields surrounding the prison. I would recommend that you give this a try. Unfortunately their coffee is not the greatest. Their Omelette are out of this world! The Farm style breakfast is also a winner. The chicken Cordon Bleu is also very tasty!
