Tokai Tutor Centre is a small tutor centre using the CAPS curriculum supplied to us by Impaq who is accredited by SACAI. All our assessments, memos and exams are set by Impaq and or SACAI. The lesson plan and assessments are structured in a way to enable us to focus on key areas and we are able to plan time for revision and reinforcement during tutoring hours well before assessments are written. We provide a small intimate environment wherein our learners are able to learn and grow feeling a part of our TTC family. We take pride in giving our learners up to Gr 10 detailed demarcations on work needing to be revised for upcoming assessments and exams. We spend time with our learners guiding them in how to make study notes in preparation for the upcoming assessments. By the time our learners reach GR 11 they have gained adequate skills and study techniques in order to help them prepare for their assessments and achieve their desired results. We have a Grade 8 class, Grade 9 class, Grade 10 and Gr 12 registered with us for 2019. We have a tutor per class, however the tutors have their specific areas of expertise. Mathematics, EMS, Business, English and Afrikaans are key subjects which a specific tutor will teach to all our learners.
