Wonderful place to get delicious home made goods, yummy food (very unique) and take a break after a long drive. Play area for kids and clean bathrooms.

A perfect breakfast spot when one has set out early for a journey through the Karoo. The roosterkoek is a speciality, unlikely to be encountered anywhere else along the highway. Along with eggs, and the local "moerkoffie", it provides great sustenance for the road ahead. Incorporates a cool little store for local products.

A wonderful new addition to the BP petrol station complex next to the main N1 Road between Cape Town and Johannesburg in the town of Touwsrivier. Great selection of products to choose from. Includes locally sourced products also. Wines, confectionery, baked goods, jams, preserves and other items perfect for gift ideas. Make sure that you allow enough time to enjoy a great coffee from the Patriot coffee shop adjacent.
