Useless customer service. Noel Joseph not phoning back after 2 days of trying to get hold of him while in the middle of a life and death situation. This after they cancelled insurance for no good reason

Do I actually have to give them one star? I would give them none. Just another insurance company looking for any ways possible not to pay out. I had a policy with them (taken out on 3 Feb 2020) and travelled to the USA on 12 March 2020. I was stranded there for 6 months and had to be repatriated. Does TIC care? Do they look for ways they can alleviate the financial strain I endured with our weak currency? I had a policy right? No...I had the wrong policy they say... I should have taken out another policy which would have covered me for COVID-19 related losses... yeah, like I knew on 03 Feb already. Terrible company. Avoid at all costs!

They are the worst. I've been dealing with a claim from them for nearly a year. In that period, I've spoken to about 10 different consultants both via email and phone, who all sound like they've been told to stall and give you the run around until you give up. I took this insurance because I was advised by my travel agent when booking the trip, however, I would recommend you pay attention to all the 1 star ratings and take your money elsewhere. I claimed in August and yes, you guessed it - I'm still waiting.

NOT EVEN WORTH HALF A STAR!! TERRIBLE SERVICE!! OR ACUTALLY NO SERVICE OR COMMUNICATION STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! I CANCELLED OUR POLICY IN APRIL AND SINCE TEN STRUGGLE TO GET A REFUND FROM THEM WORST EVER!!!

Our son of 12 years broke his knee on a ski slope in Italy after being collided into by a out of control snowboarder. It was a dreadful experience for all of us but the support and care that we received from the staff of TIC was incredibly kind and efficient. We would not hesitate to recommend using them for your travel insurance. They simply are the best in our experience.

PATHETIC WORTHLESS “INSURANCE” - not even worth the piece of paper that they e-mail to you. When there is an emergency, these are the last people to count on. When we needed help and tried contacting TIC, we were told that they cannot help and gave us another number - called that number and they gave us the number that we initially dialed. Eventually got through to Kacey, who said she will speak to her manager and go through our comprehensive insurance policy wording and call me back. I guess a month later, she is still going through the wording because I never received that call back - PATHETIC SERVICE !!!!!!!!

No stars I'm afraid...not a one! Shabbiest service ever... Overdue Claims Ref: 00088415 PolicyRef: 69643F - We have been dealing with Griszelda Koopman - please see all emails and listen to all recorded calls...We were told time and again that payment was made, however upon requesting Proof of Payment the entire story changed. Please attend to this matter urgently. ps ..i only gave you a star as i was unable to post without clicking on one!!
