Beautiful and well care for wolves. You can see the guides love the wolves and the camps are green and clean. There was a notice that they were closed and you need to book. We phoned them and they fetch us within 5 minutes at the gate and give us a tour. Thank you very much for this good service. Please support them. Well worth a visit

I really don't understand why there is a wolf sanctuary in South Africa given wolves aren't native to South Africa. Also upon looking at the website, there really is not much information given on the mission of the sanctuary or where the wolves come from/where they go - I would have expected a heavier emphasis on the rehabilitation/sanctuary work & qualifications of the management/staff in the FAQ section. The pricing system, while yes I understand wolves need to be fed and enclosures maintained, is interesting especially since I'm struggling to understand why a volunteer's upkeep would cost 4000ZAR a week. With the lack of accessible online information, I can't help but wonder if this is all under the guise of 'non-profit' to lure tourists in at a conveniently situated location on the Garden Route?

This place shows you everything you need to know about wild Wolf’s. I must admit it was breathtaking to see these animals in real life and it was such a unique experience.

LOVED the wolf sanctuary! The wolves are well cared for, cherished and understood and the guides are knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend a visit as well as a needed donation to keep the wonderful work the sanctuary does going! Xxx

Note- they are currently only open by booking, so call ahead. We had a great time. Our two little animal lovers, age 5 and 8 loved it. Andrew was knowledgeable and a great guide.
