I purchased a evaporative air conditioning unit and from the initial enquiry to the follow-up from the sales team to the actual installation of the unit, I would give the team at Turbovent a gold star rating. The team that did the installation did an amazing job and were professional the whole time that they were here. The whole organisation works as a seamless team, I would highly recommend this company in a heartbeat. I truly appreciated everyone's assistance especially the professionalism of the installation team. This is a genuine review written by a customer who is not often impressed with service but my expectation were surpassed in this instance. Five stars out of five.

Absolutely shocking service and product! Installed on December 14th 2018 and stopped working 2 days later. was given the run around continuously for two weeks while JHB went through a heatwave - incredibly frustrating when your newborn kids are upset and inconsolable and you cant even make the room comfortable due these guys not being able to carry out their jobs properly. Was given the runaround for almost two weeks before someone came out to assess the fault (28 Dec 2018 - the technical manager. he advised the unit was faulty, and probably dropped in the warehouse or during the installation which he advised had also been done very poorly as the ducting also did not meet the vents etc. see pics). He advised that he would come on new years eve with the part to repair as he could not get it over the weekend. After further runarounds and my calls being avoided, I was contacted on the 8th of Jan to repair the installation. by now i had had enough and am demanding my R38,000 rand deposit paid back to me (as is my right in terms of the CPA due their product failing) as well as my house to be restored to the original condition - roof and ceilings restored and insulation put back properly.they have been using delay tactics for this as well, so i will be following the legal route as well as reporting the matter to the consumer ombudsman. shockingly poor customer service.

I bought a fireplace from Turbovent early last year. As we did not have a cold winter last year the fireplace was barely used. This winter however I found that the fireplace was not heating any area and you literally had to stand at the glass door to feel any heat. After 3 back and forths from Turbovent, I am still not satisfied with the product which cost me in total of R16k. Either you must remove the unit and give me a refund or replace with something that works. My R2000 patio heater gives me more warmth.
