We visited John Dorys at Conubia mall on a Tuesday. It was at about lunchtime. The resturant was fairly quiet. We were warmly welcomed by the manager and promptly seated. The tables and booths were marked for social distancing according to Covid-19 protocols. We ordered off the special menus. The meals arrived promptly. The food was delicious. The prawns were plump and succulent. The fish was flaky and perfectly grilled. Overall a very good experience. It was only when we commented on the food to the waitress, did we learn that because they were working on reduced staff, our meals were prepared by the manager!! Well done to John Dorys Conubia.

I am very happy with the way this John Dory's care for their customers. My waiter was friendly and attentive. When I got my seared salmon salad the portion size was on the small side. I enjoyed my meal but I told the waiter that it was small. The manager then gave me a little takeaway to account for the small portion size. I was very happy with the way they resolved it, so I came back the next weekend and got another meal. This time it was perfect. well done. Although the staff did seem very rushed and busy even though they were not at full capacity. Just slow down the walking around speed a bit. It's kind of stressful to eat while hearing plates being broken and seeing some waiters running up and down..

I would like to say a huge Thank you to Vuyi for calling me after my last review to address the issues we experienced while at the restaurant. We did visit again, and everything was awesome. The sushi was amazing like it always was, it was probably just a bad night on the previous visit. Thank you Vuyi for being so considerate and making us want to come back again... We definitely will... Cause we just love sushi

So, from our not so great experience last year, because we love sushi so much we decided to go back...A HUGE THANK YOU to VUYI who went the extra mile, We visited last week and everything we ordered was awesome!! Really enjoyed it, and was great seeing Vuyi again. Will definitely be back for more delicious sushi!!! Thank you
