A lovely kid friendly (and dogs) place to spend some time away with the family. There's a beautiful river running through the property, as well as horse rides, a convenience store and lovely lunch venues along the way, plus access to amazing hikes just next door in the border. Campsites 16 are on the river and are great, with close proximity to the ablutions too. Cellphone signal is also great, with Vodacom 4g in most places. The road in can be rough if the weather has been wet, with potholes and mud... But in the right vehicle it's a lot of fun too. We stayed in the White Tree Cottage which was perfectly comfy for a family of 6 (and 1 kid of 4 years).

Spent Christmas 2020 camping and it was fantastic. Very relaxed vibe especially with the flowing river. Crab fishing with the kids was a hit and the fact that it’s a pet friendly park is a huge bonus for us. The local shop well stocked with pretty much anything you need. The road coming in wasn’t too bad but would be better suited for SUV type vehicles. 1 small gripe are the ablutions need a bit of an upgrade but they are fit for purpose. Will definitely come again.

We stayed at Boesmans Cottage as not campers but so impressed with beauty, cleanliness and facilities both at cottage and what we saw walking through caravan park. Cottages and converted caravans available at very reasonable rates. River runs through and around the park. Loved it.

Love this place. The river, crab fishing, the shop, waterfall, hile up the mountain, bike riding - all great ways to have a fun time in nature. Ablutions clean and so is the washing up area.

Fantastic place to unwind. Beautiful maintained grass camping sites with clean bathrooms. Very friendly and helpfull staff and owner . Small shop with necessity s on site and very fair rates. Loved it.

Silver Stream is definately not worth 4 stars. Scullery wait long for hot water, washing machine and tumble dryer not working, be warned the road to the park IS NOT FOR ORDINARY ROAD CARAVANS !!!!! Our Jurgens Penta was severely damaged on the gravel road. Bathrooms ONLY JUST ONLY OK. Lots of peace and quietness and the view on the mountains are beautiful. Will i ever visit again no.

Perfect location in the southern berg. Directly next to Bushmans Nek nature reserve, which has many great hiking trails. Beautiful river and waterfall with swimming and tubing spots. Only gripe is that the bedding in the cottages is old and needs some freshening up. Will definitely be back though.
