Shaka Marine is a beautiful and very clean. Even the restrooms were exceptionally clean They've got showers inside and outside to wash the sand after swimming. I found that very convenient. Security is very tight, people were fun there, love the vibe

We went here because it was raining and so it wasn't very crowded as it probably gets when it's sunny. There are water activities for hot days and a lot of the facilities were closed due to weather and covid (we went in Oct 2020). It was nice to learn about the sea life and the dolphin show was fun.

Enjoyed the experience... Lots to do... The Dolphin show makes it worth the steep entrance fee and long lines Lovely facilities Very enjoyable atmosphere Worth the visit... Almost to much to do in one day depending on all the fun stuff you would like to do... So maybe go over two days Amazing aquarium Will see me again

Go there at least 2 every year. Great place to send a day with family and friends. Lots of fun rides to go on. There are easy rides to more extreme ones. Entry fee is a little pricey but it is totally worth it since it covers the whole day. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The park was very clean and well kept. Right on the beach front. There are lots of snack bars around the park. Several shows as well such as the dolphin and seal show. Definitely recommend for a day of fun.

The Ushaka Village Walk has some nice stores and restaurants, also activities such as Dangerous Creatures and a 9D kinda ride. There is also a Gondola ride. The tickets are reasonable , Wet n Wild (R157) has largest and scariest dark slides, and a large pool (not too shallow) and also a kids pool. The Sea World (R200) you watch all kinds sea creatures, also feed them.

I used to go to Ushaka in the early days after its launch and haven't been in the past 10 years. I revisited and I'm happy to say the park is looking and functional as it always did! It is clean, well maintained and the staff are incredible and they make the experience that much better! If you are a newcomer then prepare yourself for a truly unique experience. Whether you are going for an observation of the marine world or a physical day in the sun and water, you will be occupied the entire day with endless entertainment. From marine exhibitions, to live dolphin shows, to a shopping experience, to the South Africa's highest water slide. Take advantage of this amazing theme park in the Durban December summer, and it will make your summer one to remember.

Its a really beautiful experience if you've never been. Unfortunately it does get a bit costly as you have to pay for each section. We spent close on R2000 for entrance to the aquarium and snorkeling for four people with lunch. We finished up at about 1pm
