Friendly host but if you want a holiday away from home - not the place. Main bungalow has spider nests from years ago. Braai grid has holes in it. Utensils to cook are useless. Broken kettle. No bin bags. No hot water to wash dishes. No bin bags, at least i brought my own. Lights for the braai is like a night light for kids, if that. Besides that you are supposed to be the only ones on the premises besides the boat - not the case. People drive over and park on the premises and cross over to the neighbour's to party. Constant party at night. With drunk people vomiting outside your unit. Main room has a spotlight shining into the room so you can't sleep. Not to mention the dog that bites at your heels and I love dogs. Bad experience for one expecting a silent get away. Don't believe what's advertised.

Spend 5 days , wonderful fishing . Really enjoyed the boat. Ray was very helpful and pleasant. Enjoyed the quietness and the beauty of nature. Highly recommend for a holiday.
