Customer services is awesome. I was coming from MTN store Vaal Mall, after the worst service one could get. They were so mean to me there and showed themselbes so incompetent that I was starting to hate MTN as a whole. But at this store, the healed my frustration .

I have been trying to open one of the new MTN SIM only Month to month deals advertised in the October 2020 Yellow trader (Deal # 2020982 CT 06375 ) since the beginning of October. According to the advert, you can buy a modem upfront with the deal, but it is not mandatory. I have been to MTN Riverside multiple times during the month, as well as calling the MTN telephonic sales department directly, but the deal is not available on their online system. Apparently they are aware of the problem and have logged tickets with MTN but we are now in November, and I am still waiting. I see in the November issue of the Yellow Trader, the deal description has changed in that you do need to buy the modem upfront. I am wondering if MTN was just stalling to wait for the deal, (that was apparently incorrectly advertised in the October issue) to expire so as not to honor it.

The service I got when in store was good but they never answer their phone so it means every time I need to enquire about something I need to go to the store. It seems to be that this is a complaint a lot of people have so I think it's time the owner gets another line for this store. This is a cellphone store right! Shouldn't be that difficult to do.

Did a sim swap and was told it would be active in the next two hours. Over 24 hours later my sim was not connected. When i call they picked up first time and told me they're working on it and now they are no longer picking up my calls. What a rude way of dealing with customers. No star
