Buffelsfontein offers great atmosphere and Healthy wild life. The Game Drive is well worth taking and the feeding of the lions is wonderful experience. With the most friendly staff offering great service.

What an incredible weekend away! We were a group that stayed in the Self Catering guest house. What we did not know is that it had it's very own pool with the most breath-taking view. The Rhinos came to greet us right by the guest house late afternoon, which is something out of this world! The whole experience at Buffelsfointein was just unforgettable & we will certainly be back!

From the warm welcome at the gate I went on to reception where I met the owner and had a long friendly chat and listing in awe to his vision for the park and the progress made thus far. I went on the short tour and was bless to see so much game roaming the vast area they have been given in this private game reserve. The tour guide was most informative and very quick to spot and point out the different game. The restaurant staff are just as friendly and the service was awesome and a hearty meal was served with big smiles. I highly recommend a visit and also think it is good to support these private reserves as they are not cheap to run and receive no funding other than that from guests and with covid that has made times hard for all. Well done for the fantastic experience and I will be returning many times.

Fantastic all around. Best value for money near Cape Town. The pictures of their accomadation and facilities does not do it justice. Cottages well thought out and comfortable. The best part was the staff and every single person was lovely and Knowledgeable

What a wonderful experience. The game drive was amazing and can definitely be contributed to Trevor, our guide who was fantastic! Ended off with lunch that was thoroughly enjoyed by all! All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back there again.

Tour guides are very knowledgeable. Besides the vast variety of wild animals, it's a great place for a lazy Sunday open air ride crisscrossing a 4km by 4km veld

Website says "unforgettable experience" - it truly was unforgettable. Most useless R400 I spent - little to no guidance. We just drove around with the ranger - if we spotted animals good, otherwise too bad! Besides some springboks, zebras and ostriches, 1 Giraffe and 2 lions in an enclosure - there wasn't anything much! Such a waste! - I'm trying to respond to the below comment but there does not seem to be a reply option available! I wish you told us that there was no guarantee of seeing the animals and the Big 5 before the drive and before I paid for it, not afterwards when I gave you my feedback after the drive! It felt like - we got your money, too bad it wasn't quite what you expected, tough luck and too late now! You market yourself as a Big 5 game drive - I think it's only fair that your clients would expect to see them unless if you put a big disclaimer in bold that it's a luck by chance drive! Also, caged lions don't quite count as a game drive! This was a holiday present for my family and what a total and absolute waste! This is certainly NOT worth R400 pp! The experience was poor and I wish that your customer service was better - a refund would have been good!
