1. Whether you did your eye test at an optometrist or not you’re still going to queue as they do your eye test where they scan your fingerprints. 2. They only take cash at this facility, they don’t have any machines for swiping. 3. They don’t really go according to the booking time/slot given to you through the NaTIS (National Traffic Information System) website application... if you go there early they’ll squeeze you in to an earlier slot. 4. You need to book online because there’s a list with names, dates and time slots that they check to make sure you’re reserved for that day. 5. ID photos are just for filing purposes, you can use old ID photos if you still have them. They’re going to take photos for your license anyway. (They didn’t even take my ID photos)

I went for my drivers card renewal and temp license. Friendly, safe and efficient! You HAVE to book online for an appointment. I also took my own eye test and x2 black & white photos along, but you can have them done there too. I arrived 1 hour before my appointment as per the recommendation. Google Maps Directions were spot on! Safe parking inside shopping centre parking area. Social Distancing definitely adhered to inside with staff sanitizing in between each customer. Staff all wore masks. Seating and standing areas were clearly marked inside to avoid crowding of customers. However on arrival social distancing outside not practised so much where you log in and have your temp taken, I was a bit concerned and it gives a not so good first impression of general confusion. BRING YOUR OWN PEN! Staff friendly and directions good inside, staff outside could improve their approach a little bit...Once allowed inside first go to reception to get the form to fill in, the online download form is incorrect as the dept logo is missing off it. Then you get pointed to the eye section. Then back to reception, then off to the cashiers. Then back to reception again. A smooth and well directed process, as each staff member at each station you leave directs you clearly to the next. Well done Xavier DLTC!i

Bad experience at Xavier Junction I am a pensioner I was advised to come on Wednesday morning as this is the day for pensioners, on arrival at 9am I was told there was a function at 10 am and they would not allow me in, although others were allowed in, I had my eye test certificate from my optometrist and photos, I felt they were racist towards me especially the lady that was in control, she raised her voice and said I should come the next day as they would help the pensioners on Thursday morning, which I did and they placed me in a queue, not for pensioners it was a normal queue, I cannot stand for hours in the queue. I found the staff at the door very rude and obnoxious. Management at Xavier Junction need to train their staff to be helpful and friendly and not to bully the public because they feel they are in a position of power.

Had a booking to renew drivers license for yesterday, had to come back today they never got to yesterday's bookings because there was a back log from the day before. I'm here at 7am and the line is already long. Wonder if I will be helped today???

Worse testing station I've ever been to in my whole life. Arrived at the station at 12h25 for a 14h10 appointment. I left the station at 14h30 and was nowhere near the door into the station. Having an appointment meant nothing. I stood in line for 2 hours and only moved 3 metres the whole time!!

Okay, well organized for a government department. Have to be patient as things take a little time due to covid.

It was terrible I had downloaded the forms but when I got there you can not use them as they do not have the government emblem on them so why do they let you download them ??? I hot there one hour before as requested my appointment was at 10 to 3 they only were trying to get the 11 o'clock people done so waited and only hot takes at 4.10 so why have appointments Not all bad when I did get to the counter the young man was very nice Thank godness it's only every 5 years

Would be awesome if we could pay online when making the appointment and just present proof when we get there. Spending an entire day in different queues is no fun...
