Through YPIA, young people expand their knowledge, promote their talents, publish their ideas, and network with other scholars and professionals. While YPIA operates on a global scale, its emphasis is on identifying common needs and solutions of African institutions, and raising a generation of young Africans to take up prominent positions in international affairs. It consists of over 50 volunteers and hundreds of members from throughout Africa and the world. Overall, YPIA seeks to provide young professionals with skills, exposure, knowledge, and relationships required to develop a career that will have a lasting positive impact on the African and global political leadership.
