The place has a very nice view, however we couldn't experience much of the river side 4x4 trail due to the heavy rain. The river's stream was too strong. The map and directions was very confusing. The numbers weren't in the right places and it was obvious that the owner haven't looked at the trails in a long time. It wasn't cleaned up, obviously no one has been on these trials in a while and there was a lot of loose and big rocks all over. For the people looking to camp here, the facilities was extremely dirty and not well taken care of. According to some other reviews from a few years ago, they never looked after the bathrooms. Only good thing is the view of the river and mountains and the pub.

Nice trail. Challenging, the trail is unfortunately not marked very well, or perhaps we didnt understand the directions but we got lost alot and had to turn around a couple of times, but alot of fun. Rake your own braai and chairs along. Nice bar for when you are done and owner is helpful and has workshop to help if there is trouble. Along side a beautiful river. Worth going to

Great venue for 4X4 enthusiasts! Great pub ran by the owner AT Rademeyer. Beautiful setting for those who want to go camping with a tent or caravan right on the banks of the Crocodile River, nestled in a gorgeous valley. Facilities are neat & tidy and and the prices are very reasonable. Owner also has a small but well equiped workshop to help with repairs to your vehicle if needed. I recommend “AT-SE-GAT” to anyone and will actually urge you to stop by if you traveling from Brits towards Thanazimbi on the R511.
