Although they offer a wide variety of items, that I couldn’t find anywhere else, for an artist that buys their equipment it will be extremely expensive. As well, they do not offer assistance or any help. Their attitude was very negative.

The Van Schaik ladies have gone out of their way on numerous occasions to get books in that I could not find anywhere. It is such a pleasure shopping at this branch of Van Schaik. Friendly service and the store is spacious and clean.

I needed help with finding a specific pen - Thank you to the lady who assisted me on the floor - I did not get your name. The price marked on the shelve was R18 something, when I got to the counter the actual price was R131. I decided not to take the pen as I feel that it is excessively expensive. Unfortunately the lady working behind the counter was very rude and gave me a look because I decided not to take the pen anymore. I really hope that this lady is just having an off day otherwise I would rather drive to the next book / stationary store.
