A lovely little bookstore in Dorp Street. There is a nice selection of photography books on Stellenbosch for tourists. Nevertheless, the highlight was the Africana or rare books section - some real treasures. Some good Afrikaans books. The store is quite cosy with some seating. I could spend a morning or afternoon there just browsing and reading. The lady at the desk is exceptionally helpful.

What a lovely place to spend an hour or two. I couldn't resist buying a few books. They have a lovely selection of new and used books, some of them vintage.
Arrived at 9 am and the store was still closed. After calling the number on the door was told they would open at 9:30 am. Went back at 9:40 am and they were still closed. Please change your hours on google as they are not true.
This quaint little bookshop in the iconic Dorp Street in Stellenbosch contains a surprising number of fascinating books, old and new considering its size. It is a pleasure to spend some time there. You enter a different world as you go through its historic front door. The service is excellent. They leave you alone to brows to your heart's content, until you need help. Then the staff is immediately on hand. I just love going in there.
Best bookstore in the country. Wide variety of interesting books. And insightful owner/manager/assistant.
