In 2013, I registered with RJM Consulting to complete a Wealth Management course, through the company that I was employed with at the time. All lectures and assessments were conducted on site, and all tests and assignments were handed to the facilitator after each assessment. The duration of the course was 1 year. I left the company in 2014, with the assurance that the course was completed, as I had met all the requirements, and was advised of same. In 2020 I contacted Karen Broeke, the director, to provide me with my certification, however to my surprise I was advised that I have outstanding modules. These modules were completed on site and assessments were handed to the facilitator, so I fail to understand how certain assessments were outstanding. She then advised that she can assist me by allowing me to complete the outstanding modules and she would provide me with a quote of the fees.(Even though I had completed this course) I then enquired as to why I would be required to pay when the course was fully paid for by the company in 2013. I received no response from her thereafter, even after advising her how urgently I required the certification. She totally disregarded all my emails. I find this behaviour absolutely unprofessional and unethical. In my opinion, the structure of the course and the actual knowledge gained is not beneficial. A total waste of time and money.
