Visas are extremely hard to get these days, but service here is fairly professional and commendable.

Very frustrating trying to deal with VFS Global Pretoria SA office from Windhoek Namibia. To try and get information by email or telephone call re a couriered application for existing New Zealand resident travel visa, is a nightmare, (i.e. form INZ1175 Variation in Travel Conditions). It’s typical 3rd world service. You want to tear your hair out trying to get info out of VFS via emails, especially if you are used to dealing with 1st world service through direct communication with NZ Immigration in Auckland NZ, who are super helpful, very knowledgeable, answer phones very quickly, and give you clear direction what to do to resolve your query. VFS South Africa online feedback form makes no provision for telephone number dialling codes outside SA, yet if you live in Namibia you are forced to use this VFS South African office, but cannot send them an online feedback on their form provided. Using their enquiry email also does not work. It just comes back stating you must look at NZ immigration New Zealand website and makes no attempt to answer your enquiry. You are just left hanging. Yet they charge a fortune to process your application, but you get little satisfactory service! VFS Pretoria never answer their phones. You hang on forever on an international call costing you a fortune. Their SA toll free number does not work dialling from Namibia! This is an agency organisation that we in Africa must use to apply for New Zealand visas, but VFS makes no provision that all SADC countries can get hold of them easily. If you don’t live in SA, it’s a mission.

Well organized, well maintained and very clean place, such a professional staff is here who are helping people in a professional way. Very nice and very wide sitting place nice security check too. Very Safe place for foreigners and tourists people too. I was welcomed by the security guy and then one of the lady she helped me with smiling face and she was really polite too.

Disorganised and chaotic! Absolutely no Coronavirus precautions were taken — people were in close contact with one another, most were not wearing masks and nothing was sanitized. The staff are incredibly rude and inefficient! On the day I went, they had overbooked and there was barely anywhere to stand.

The lady who saved me was arrogant. She requested for me to write an affidavit that I had agreed to apply for my child s permit. Upon returning with the affidavit she said it was not necessary.

Amazing service! The lady who helped me took her time to help me make sure all my documents were correct and helped me iron out some kinks. They were all funny too. So good I had to write a review!

Very courteous, friendly and helpful staff members. Very clean and organized office. You will think you're in a US embassy. There are two sections: 1) where Canada & New Zealand visas are being processed, and 2) where foreign nationals living in SA processed SA resident permits
