56 years ago i purchased my first Bernina. It is in perfect working order and a good standby thanks to Bernina Durban. My second Bernina is now in Australia with my daughter. I was able to sort out a tension problem for her on Skype recently. Too far away to take it to Bernina Durban! My third Bernina is my daily machine and gives me excellent results. Be encouraged to have your machine regularly serviced by the Beckers, it not only will extend its life, but their outstanding service mechanics will be able to replace worn parts and sort out problems. Always a pleasure to visit their shop, be it about a machine or even just to buy new needles and haberdashery. Debbie is a good and creative teacher and her classes are worth attending. Pleased to see the next generation already being trained in the business. The Beckers are the Best!

I would like to share my experience at Bernina Durban North with Eddie, Debbie and Sean. My sister choose a Bernina machine as a gift to me, Eddie serviced the machine, I was advised by Debbie even though my model is an older model she was in great condition. I went on a Training Course to know how to use this machine as I previously owned a Singer. I would like to say a Huge "Thank You" to Sean for my training today, I really learnt a lot from this experience. Thank you Debbie for having me. I really appreciated the Warm Service all-round. The people who run and own this store are absolutely fantastic. I was trying to troubleshoot some issues with a 30 year old Bernina sewing machine and Ed was super willing to educate me and help me over the phone to try fix the issue to avoid having to pop into the store. Ultimately tooling limitations on my side prevented me from being able to fix the matter so a visit was required. Ed and his wife were super professional and fast at solving the problem. They provided us with some very educational information to ensure that the issue did not reoccur in future. I would highly recommend this specific store to anyone looking to service or repair their Bernina machines...even if there is another store close to you. Professionalism personified.
