Recently bought a house in Kommetjie and we were only set to move in 2 months later as it was still occupied. None the less we decided to book into a guest house for 2 months till our house was ready. This being Canary Cottages in Flamingo Street in Kommetjie. The elderly couple seemed accommodating who is Bruce and Glynis. They insisted that we also pay a breakage deposit which would be refunded after two months if all was in order. Well we left the place in a much better state that we got it firstly and now after numerous attempts to get our deposit back they have come up with excuse after excuse and promising on a daily basis to refund our deposit. I was now told by die owner that he is NOT refunding us and never intended to. This is theft and I will not leave this here. Be careful where you book. They might seem like a nice old couple but are definitely not
